Peta Colbert is the Research Project Manager of the ASEP Project and works closely with academics in the Crime and Justice Group in the School of Social Sciences in support of their research activities. She has been involved in research management for over 20 years as an Institute Manager, Research Partnerships Manager, and Research Fellow in Queensland universities.

Peta has co-authored several reports on large government-funded projects and evaluations focused on students with disabilities and learning difficulties, assessment reform and literacy professional development.  Ms Colbert has also worked on numerous national, competitive research projects, including projects about assessing graduate teacher readiness, exploring standards-driven reform in assessment, and the impact of national testing data on student improvement efforts in the classroom.
